Nepenthes Ampullaria Original Artwork 8.27 × 11.7″
Nepenthes Ampullaria is surely one of my favorites. With its tiny pot like pitchers and beautiful coloring, what it lacks in size it surely makes up in beauty! I would love to own one, and one day, if circumstances ever allow me to have a greenhouse I will hunt one down. For now, though, I will have to be content with just looking and painting and dreaming.
This is a watercolor and pencil painting of a beautiful wild Ampullaria which was originally photographed by Marc Anderson a wildlife photographer and nature recording artist on his travels in Sarawak, Malaysia.
